KULTUUR
Kultuur wat Vleuels Gee by Laerskool Robertson
Culture that Gives Wings at Robertson Primary School
At Robertson Primary School, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Culture is the heartbeat of our school—a platform where learners discover their unique talents, build confidence, and express themselves creatively.
Our school choir regularly fills the hall with beautiful harmonies, teaching learners the value of teamwork and unity. For those who love storytelling, our drama classes offer the perfect outlet to develop essential life skills like body language and public speaking.
We are equally proud of our learners’ linguistic and intellectual achievements. Our official school newsletter, Die Swaeltjie, serves as the voice of our community, showcasing creative writing and school news. On stage, learners excel in public speaking competitions, learning to articulate their views with conviction. These talents are celebrated at the annual Worcester Eisteddfod, a prestigious regional event where our learners regularly walk away with top awards. For quick thinkers, our quiz competitions challenge general knowledge in a spirit of friendly competition.
All these cultural facets come together spectacularly during our grand school concert, hosted every second year. This production is an absolute highlight on the Robertson calendar. Every single learner gets the chance to shine on stage, backed by beautiful costumes and professional lighting. It is a true community festival that showcases the passion and togetherness of our staff, parents, and children.
Through our comprehensive cultural program, Robertson Primary School ensures that every learner gets the opportunity to spread their wings and fly high!
